Book Review:

Remember the first time you saw an iPhone or an iPod? I was in pure awe of those devices when I saw them for the first time. The software, the features, the technology!! They were such beautiful creations of technology. I remember wondering what geniuses might be working at Apple that they create such products. That question was answered when I read this book.

Walter Isaacson has done a fantastic job and gone into extreme detail while writing this book. He has written about everything. The teams, the products, the culture, the fights, everything. He has covered every single aspect of Steve’s personality. His love, his tears, his temper, his issues, and most importantly, his brilliance. I believe that whenever you’re writing someone’s biography, the most difficult thing to do is to show and express their thoughts correctly. And Walter does that perfectly, I feel. Whenever he told about a launch event in the book, I kind of wished that Steve Jobs just walked back on stage once more to present a new product. Every single detail mattered to Steve Jobs, and that’s what made those launches so perfect. And the best part is, Walter has described the journey behind those events in the same manner.

One small detail at a time so that when everything comes together, you have a masterpiece.

Writing in-depth, Walter talks about the different times and situations in Steve’s life. From his childhood to how Apple was born, how Apple and Microsoft had troubles, to how Steve came and conquered the entire industry and at the end, how the legend finally left.

Overall, it's a great book, and I feel any technology enthusiast would love it. Irrespective of whether your an IOS fanboy or an Android lover, you’ll have a gala time, I believe. So do check it out.

Happy Reading.
